A Pre-Conference Satellite Meeting for the 77th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry
The ISE 2026 Satellite Meeting in Xiamen will bring together leading researchers and emerging scholars to exchange ideas on frontier advances across electrochemistry. Hosted by Xiamen University, which has played a pioneering role in modern electrochemistry in China since the 1950s and hosted the 46th ISE Annual Meeting in 1995, the meeting builds on a distinguished tradition in electrochemical interfaces and in situ/operando characterization.
Today, Xiamen University is extending this legacy at the frontier of AI for Electrochemistry by integrating machine learning, computational spectroscopy, scientific databases, and high-performance computing. These efforts are advancing the simulation of complex interfaces, intelligent interpretation of multimodal spectra, and data-driven discovery of catalysts, battery electrolytes, and energy materials.
Through a focused program spanning theory, experiment, methodology, and applications, the meeting will provide an intimate and interactive setting for high-level discussion, interdisciplinary exchange, and new collaborations.
