Xiamen is a beautiful coastal city with an efficient transportation network. Whether you are arriving by plane or train, this guide will help you reach the conference venue easily.

✈️ Arriving from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport

The airport has two terminals. The journey to the campus is approximately 15‑18 km.

Option 1: Taxi or Ride‑hailing (Recommended)

• Pick‑up: Designated taxi points are at the arrival hall. Ride‑hailing pick‑up points are located on the underground level.

• Time & Fare: 20–30 minutes (depending on traffic), Approximately CNY 40–50.

Option 2: Public Bus

• Route:Take the Airport Express Bus Line or Airport Express Eastbound Line, then transfer to a connecting city bus to "Xicun Station (Xiamen University)".

• Time & Fare: Approx. 1 hour 10 minutes, Around CNY 15. Tickets can be purchased at the counters in the arrival hall.

🚅 Arriving from Xiamen North Railway Station

The city's main high‑speed rail hub.

Option 1: Metro + Bus (Most Efficient)

• Route: Take Metro Line 1 from Xiamen North Station to "Zhenhai Road Station" (approx. 45 mins). Transfer to a bus (e.g., No. 20, 22, or 45) for a few stops. Get off at "Xicun Station of Xiamen University".

• Total Time & Fare: 60–70 minutes, Around CNY 8 (Metro ~CNY 7 + Bus CNY 1).

Option 2: Taxi or Ride‑hailing

• Pick‑up: Designated points outside the station.

• Time & Fare: 40–50 minutes, Approximately CNY 60–80.

🚆 Arriving from Xiamen Railway Station

Located in the city center, closer to the campus.

Option 1: Public Bus (Highly Recommended)

• Route: Take Bus No. 96, 48, or 21. These are direct routes, Get off at "Xicun Station of Xiamen University".

• Time & Fare: Approx. 45 minutes, CNY 1.

Option 2: Taxi or Ride‑hailing

• Time & Fare: ~15 minutes (fast and comfortable), Approximately CNY 15–20.

Option 3: Metro

• Take Metro Line 3, transfer to Line 1, and get off at "Zhongshan Park" station. You will then need to take a bus or taxi for the remaining 2 km to the campus.

Vehicles and pedestrians typically enter the Siming Campus through:

• Da'nan Gate (大南校门)

• Qunxian Gate (群贤校门)
